Finding BNG unit supply

The number of habitat banks in England is up 123% in a year, from 186 to 414.

But the right units can still be hard to find.

Supply is spread across the 169 operators we've identified so far, and 131 of them run a single habitat bank. The top supplier still only has 11% of the total market. There are 63 distinct habitat types on the register.

The Natural England register tells you a habitat bank exists. It doesn't tell you:

  • whether it has units left to sell

  • whether the operator is actively looking for buyers

  • what the units cost

  • who to speak to

That's where we come in. We work with over 85% of the current supply market, from large portfolios to single-site landowners. Tell us the habitat types, the number of units and where your development is. We'll go to the market and bring you up to 4 supply options, including less common habitats and areas where supply is thin.

Our sourcing service is free, and with our matched pricing offer it means you pay the same as going direct to the supplier.
